Happy Half Birthday, Baby. (6 Months!)

6 MONTHS.
What happened to my newborn? My tiny little baby?
He is soooo big. And sooooo smart. And sooooo sweet. (That is what I chant to you, and you just smile and smile.)

-18lb 4oz. 26in. Growing, growing.

-You are now mostly sitting up on your own.
-When put on your tummy you immediately roll to your back.
-On Tuesday you really started talking and saying, "Ball ball ball ball ball ball."
-You will now go more than 2 hours between feedings.
-We have exclusively breastfed for the entire 6 months. Here's to many more months, a higher IQ, fewer illness, reduced risks of cancer (for you and me), and thousands of other benefits!
-Your daddy still has the calming touch. When he holds you, you are so relaxed and mellow.
-You've been in your bed for almost a month. Some nights you do great and sleep 5-6 hours. Some nights- like last night- you want your mama or daddy pretty regularly. I still love you though ;)
-Landry is still one of your favorites. You love the animals, too.
-You are still in 6 months clothes and filling them out nicely.

Hank,
You are the twinkle in my eye. I pray that you will be strong in the Lord and of great courage. That you will stand on the Word when the world around you won't stand for anything. You were created for greatness. Praying that the Lord will equip us for all seasons of parenting. Love you Big Baby.
