Alabama the Beautiful.

I am so proud to be an Alabamian here lately. Here are a few reasons why:

1. Every single month on the 20th RMC lactation calls to check on Hank and me.

2. Lactation from Northeast Alabama Baby Cafe will call and check in if we haven't been able to attend in a while.

3. Since the opening of Northeast Alabama Baby Cafe, Birmingham has started their own Baby Cafe and Tuscaloosa is currently working on one for their area!

Alabama might have the lowest breastfeeding rates and highest obesity rates (except Mississippi) but there are some really awesome people (like Dr. J) that are stepping up and making things happen for Alabama women and children. 

Breast is not best, it is how God designed us to feed our babies. Thanks to the support at RMC, Baby. Cafe, and an online group I am able to bf.
