7 Months? Closer to a year than to a newborn?
My baby.
-19lbs +-Can roll EVERYWHERE. Scoot in circles but not yet crawling. You do an awesome above water swim when you really want to go somewhere.
-Started getting that belly off the ground a week ago. Maybe you'll be going somewhere soon. You'll be a lot less frustrated when you do.
-Mentally you know you want to go and do but you aren't quite there physically.
-You cry when Mama and Daddy leave the room.
-You make pig noises, click your tongue, and still love blowing raspberries.
-You tried avacado for your first food and puked everywhere. HA. Since then you have tried sweet potato and banana. We are doing baby led weaning. That means you feed yourself real food. I don't make anything special for you or buy that expensive mush in jars. You don't really care about food, just mama's milk. You are so content to sit at the dinner table with some ice in the mesh feeder. As Dr. Contarino said, "He's obviously doing quite well with out solid food."
-Sometimes you get so sleepy that we are both ready for you to nap. Then after I've picked up and cleaned up (about 30 minutes) I'm peeking in your room, ready for you to wake up and play because I miss you already.
-You are my favorite baby.
-We had to take you to the ER Thursday night at midnight. You had croup and it hit SO fast. High fever and awful wheezing. Mama was a bit scared. No medicine and 3 days later you are feeling much better. We are heading to see the chiropractor this morning and I'm thrilled. I've been holding all 19 lbs of you since Thursday night :) Wouldn't trade it though.
-You love to walk around holding mama's hands and we just laugh because you do "high knees" with every step. You won't be tripping over toys in the floor or logs in the woods ;)
-Brandie Mobbs took some 6/7 month pictures of you at the infamous Janney Park. I love them.
-You love going on walks, Odie, Janie, Fluff, and Dash. You love sharing a sip of water with Mama.
-You are my sunshine. Seriously, you are so adorable and you have such a lovable personality. I hope you grow up to be strong and courageous. Always willing to do the right thing no matter who is or isn't looking. I hope you love the Lord and impact the Kingdom for your generation and generations to come. You have taught me so much in your 7 months of life. You have shown me Jesus. I hope that as your mother I can show you Jesus. I love you "Big Baby". Happy 7 Months!

After reading your blogs, I count it a blessing to have known you as we were growing up. But it also shows me that even though we have been apart for YEARS we would still be great friends if we lived close to each other now. Crazy how similar our Mommyhoods are! Miss you and hope Hank and Meara can meet one day!
