Here's the cool part though... I mentioned that there must be a reason that Renee and I BOTH got jury duty on the same day and then we sat on the same case! Crazy... we even sat next to each other in the court room to be questioned by the DA and defense attorney! Well, on Friday we met a nice girl named Angela. On Monday the three of us went to lunch together at Panera (YUM). We got on the subject of church and it just so happens that her and her newly wed husband have been looking for a church. So crazy. We were all so excited to have met each other and thought it was so cool that we had formed a friendship and believe that everything happens for a reason. I believe Renee and I had jury duty just to meet Angela. It feels like I've known her forever and I really really hope she comes to Elevate. My time at the courthouse was well spent. Yay for new friends.
Side note: Today I asked Jackson to name three things he was thankful for. 1- lego guys 2- star wars legos 3- me :)
There is no way I could even begin to list all that I am thankful for!
