Christmas in Dixie...

While I was home Mom taught me to sew. Honestly, I wasn't very stoked on the idea at first just because I normally don't want to sit still for too long. I just like to go go go. However, I am so glad that I learned. I felt so accomplished after and when I wear the finished product.

Here I am sewin away. Notice the red scrunchy in my hair.
You know know what kind of treasures you'll find at your parents house :)

The finished product! Soft, pink pajama pants! Yay!

I had a marvelous trip home. Really, everything was great. The family time, friend time, food, gifts. Everything. The only things I didn't get to do that I wanted to do were.... see the lights at Nocaloolah (sp?) Falls, play Christmas songs on the piano with my mom, see Landry and his lady, go to church with my parents, eat Hudson's, see Stephanie Harper and her babies, eat Martin's, see Mrs. Kristen Johnson, and spend the night with my nephews at their house. That sounds like a lot but in comparison to all the things I DID get to do.... I'll live. Hopefully I'll be home again soon and can do all of the things listed above.

I am seriously blessed with a special family. Most of the time I leave wanting more time with them rather than being "so" ready to be back in San Diego. I know if I lived at home we'd probably need breaks from each other but for the most part I just love em. Thanks for the love, relatives. It is much needed.
