Tis the Season...

TO KNIT!!!
After months of "knitting" I finally have something to show for it! My first scarf. Hooray. It is real cute... just don't look close :) I am half way through with my second scarf! It really is the season to knit. The sun sets at 5 now and it's dark by 6! Ridiculous? Yes. However, sometimes it is a little chilly and dark outside which really sets the mood for some hardcore knit sessions.

It is also the season for Christmas music. Too early? NO WAY! I bought Faith Hill's Christmas CD earlier this week because it was on sale for 11 bucks. Love it. Haven't popped it out of my car yet! What a classy lady. You see, I'll be spending Thanksgiving in the Grand Canyon. So, this turkey day there will be no tradition... making it totally okay for me to pump up the Christmas jams now. Although there will be no tradition this Thanksgiving and I will miss my family in Alabackie... I AM SO THRILLED about this trip. I have been wanting to hike the humongous canyon for quite some time now. So far there are 4 of us that are definitely going.... Bea, me, Ellenor and Tyler(the funny boy we love).

I have another fun trip coming up in January too. San Fran baby! Bea and I are going to explore and make new friends. Thank you southwest for always having sales and making it possible for me to see the west coast and get out of southern California.

Well, our friend Michelle just got here and I can no longer think of what I need to fill the east coast in on.. so holla!
