IN HIS HANDS.
The Grand Canyon was grand. I am not even going to try and attempt describing it. It's just one of those things you MUST see for yourself. I have posted a few pictures but still, they do no justice.
We hiked the Kaibab Trail. I'm not sure how to spell the K word. It took us about 40 minutes on the way down and a little longer on the way up. I had a little cold on our road trip but I actually felt much better after hiking. I love being outside so much.
On the trip from Flagstaff to the Grand Canyon I was really hoping to get a glimpse of an elk roaming around in it's natural habitat. I didn't. I did see a huge dead something. Tyler and I think it was a buffalo. It was crazy. All huge on the side of the road.
After the GC we roughed it and drove home instead of paying for another night at a hotel, unloading all our junk just to reload it in the morning. We got home late last night. I should say that Tyler roughed it. He drove most of the way. It is nice to be home. It rained in San Diego today. A little hail too. All I did today was a lot of laying around. I've watched 3 movies and an episode of Grey's. It is cold and rainy. I love it.
