What Do You Want To Be When You Grow Up?

Since I was 18 years old I have been trying to figure out what I could go to school for and what kind of career I want to have. Which is interesting because I have never been interested in a career. I have, however, always been interested in being a wife and a mother. There is nothing I love more than being with children, caring for them, and loving on them. Then when I got married I realized that I really love being a wife. I have thoroughly enjoyed being Will's wife for the last year and a half. Being his wife is my favorite job. I love the grocery shopping, cooking breakfast and dinner, doing his laundry, paying the bills, and going to all of his sporting events. I have only been a mother for (almost) 6 weeks now but I can already tell you that motherhood is just icing on the cake of being married to Will.

I have always known that I wanted to be a wife and a mother and it's no wonder that I still can't decide on a major or picture myself in the work force doing a job that I went to school to learn all about.

Why?

Because being Will's wife and Hank's mother is my highest calling. After all, Hank is all I get to leave in this world when my time is done. If I raise him up like God has called me to then hopefully the world will be a better place because he's in it. There is nothing more important to me that my big baby and my little baby. I am so happy to finally be where I know God has gifted me to be.

*I am not a perfect wife. Ask Will. I can strive to be better though.
**I am not the perfect mother. I do have a knack for taking care of children though and will do my very best to raise Hank up to honor the Lord.
