In May a cop in Point Loma pulled me over. I was sitting at a red light. Seriously, every day I speed down the 8 east in the morning and then I speed home on the 8 west and that day in May I get pulled over sitting at a red light. Ridiculous. He says my registration is expired. He's wrong. He still gives me a court date because I didn't have a CA DL and because the vehicle (that I do not own) isn't registered in the state. Bull butter. As I'm pulled over 2 cars with out of state plates pass us. Ugh. So off to court I go. My fines are $658.
I went to court on Monday. I guess there's a first time for everything. It was just like tv. The judge wore a long black choir-lookin robe. There was a cop that stood on the floor in front and I had to stand behind a pulpit thing with a mic. It was pretty intimidating. I was in there with a bunch of gangster lookin fellas. I was one of the last to go. The judge called my name and I approached the stand. We had a little chit chat at the stand. I explained that I moved here from GA to start a church but my parents live in AL. He said, "All charges are dropped. You don't owe me a thing." WAHOO! I'm still on a natural high! We had a good little convo and that judge loved me! Plus- no dipping into my savings for ridiculous citations! Booyah dumb Point Loma cop! Yay!!
Thank you Jesus for taking care of me- always :)
Less than 2 weeks til i'm back in God's country. Yippeeee
